Hey Matt, saw and read about the Twinky Moke in TME today.

Nice bit of kit that

But come on, only 140 HP?

How does the diff and gearcase stand up to it?

hee hee yeah on a certain boost level with a certain ign advance , at a certain rev we can make 140 :-)

do you still want that steering wheel & 1128 case?

Edit-> oh & the gearbox is an overhauled A+ & 4-pin diff, preety tough really,,, & there`s really no problem with factory gearboxes up to about 160-180 (torque level, age & abuse depending) this Twinky moke has been pinned (thrashed) with well over 20lbs boost, heaps of Ign, & 8000rpms for quite a while , on a number of occasions, during testing & tuning (& that`s a little bit more than 140 if you can imagine :-) ) & now Michael (the owner) has had the car for nearly a year with absolutely "Nothing" gone wrong with the entire car,,, not one problem,,, not one oil or water leak,,, nothing,,, not one hic-up,,, starts first time , every time,,,, runs perfect oil pressure,, water temp etc,,,, i couldn`t have asked for a better result to be honest & he drives it hard i can assure you , he & all his mates are pure V8-rev-head powercruise type guys, so you can imagine how it gets treated hey? :-)

(oops, i tell a lie, the bottom exh strap bolt came loose once) he has quite a bit of dirt & rough roads out where he lives. :-)

he ran it at the Willowbank Powercruise a couple of weeks ago & sounds like they all had a ball with it :-)

It could do with some sticky-er rubber tho :-)

Love yr work Matt, it is just awesome and it really fills out that engine bay area quite well.

You say no problems? I would expect no less. You've invested god knows how much blood sweat and tears in to that thing......and what a thing.
