Greetings All.
Finished assembling 850 for my '64. Painted block green. Engine mounts etc black. Stripped Starter of orange paint (Lent it to mate long time back and it got a dose of his colour.)
Q: Some time back there was a topic on starter and generator colour. Should they be green or black? Has anyone got a pic? I will leave alloy bits un-painted.

as it come from the factory, starter motor/generator/distributor/gearbox/manifold etc were all fitted to the engine before it was painted...

Sorry for the long gap in reply. Had a late night in the shed and worked all day at my sons house.

Just cleaned up and re-assembles starter, will do the Generator tommorow.
