You think postage or courier from UK is dear...
They wanted a zillion to send a kevlar Mini timing belt to Oz last time I asked.
And everything they sell is dearer to us than Minispares (who supply them most stuff anyway).

That's why I get it shipped to my mate in Florida, and he sends it on - usually for around $20 although my Beatles remastered set cost $45 in postage. Free shipping mainland US often helps

While its a good time for buying mini parts its an even better time for buying real estate in the US. Check out some of the places in Florida 4x2 with pools for $80K. About to purchase a few, luckily have a sister in law there who will keep an eye on everything.

Might want to check with your bank first as I just inadvertently discovered my bank has started charging an additional 3% fee on foreign exchange purchases.

There are a lot of choice words I could use about this as I can't find reference this new raping, sorry I mean fee anywhere in their PDS and was not real happy about it. :x

Yeah my bank charges an additional 2.5% for international VISA transactions. I only realised after the third overseas order this year!

Would never use a bank for currency exchange, I use a forex company. No fees and you get a much better rate than the banks offer.

Two sets of AO32Rs from Midland wheels including postage for $1011 at the moment.

Damn it!

Just need the pound to fall slightly more and I'm set for the next few years...

Might just get one. Works out to about $540.
