So here am I going for a beautiful sunday drive, the car freshly waxed and vacumed, me with a giant grin when I come across satan..

I was driving around the headland where the speed limit is 25kmh and I was doing about that when some old bag decides she is goin to come at me with a rolled up news paper signaling for me to slow down..

Naturaly the middle finger went up and I gave her a demonstration of what speeding actually looks like but she ruined my drive!

Where do these idiots get off?! AHHHH!!!

Earlier this year I had an old bloke whack my car a few times with his walking stick because I drove in front of him. The crossing was only a few meters away, but he wanted to cross there. "Give way to pedestrians," he yelled.

It's so tempting at times like these to tell them what you think, but I figured that really wouldn't help. Arguing with a tool doesn't make them any less of a tool.

I am associated with a local council and we get issues like this all the time. You need to see it from residents/pedestrian's point of view. They usually tend to live along roads that are now being used as 'rat runs' by commuting hoons. There is a big push to introduce speed humps and other periphenalia to halt speeding cars.
Fortunately/unfortunately I can see their point of view. While 90% of cars drive safely, there will be a small number who are dangerous. This makes it difficult to allow kids out in the area, and oldies (we will get there too one day) feeling vunerable. :(

I was doing 25kmh... and there are speed bumps! The minis just look like they're being naughty because they bounce around and make some noise.

At that speed i could of brought the car to a halt by sticking my foot out the door!

If i was being a dickhead i would have accepted it..

Mike, you're a Mini driver, it is physically and morally impossible for you to be a dickhead. You need an engine bigger than 2.5 litres to do that.

You get idiots like that everywhere. I was almost assaulted by this middle aged woman with a bob once while on my bicycle. She screamed at me and stood in front of me to block my way!

I'd agree with that - a Mini always looks like it's going faster than it actually is (feels like it from the inside too!).

I often get waved to slow down at roadworks, when I'm already doing 40.
