Different year cars did different things. I know the late cars it ran down the middle, and was held in by P clips, but the only clips / tags I see under the car are for the fuel, brake and hydro lines, so thought I'd check.

I have had a think about this, I belive that 850s had it in a channel along the centre, while hydro cars had the cable in with the pipes, with small sections of plastic strips on the cable for protection. Most clubmans also had the cable under the cover with the brake pipe but I can recall some cars have it running along the centre held in with tags (like in the engine bay) maybe its the vans or early 850s im thinking of? I dont know anymore, my brain doesnt work like it used too, where am I again? The Westgate fell down on friday and im still confused

Was looking at a 62 850 today and the cable runs down a channel in the middle (just beside but before the exhaust tunnel), was on its side and was told that what the channel was for. Like a metal channel/tunnel.
