i just started building my cooper s engine, i had the machine shop drill and tap the other holes for the new oil pump, my old one had 3 screws in a triangle layout anf the new had 4 in a square pcd, after fitting the pump which had only 2 screws into the block top left and bottom right, i checked inside the thread of the other new drilled top hole and walla there was a hole in the back of the taped out hole which looks like it leads to a water jacket or something, so i pluged it with a bold and cut it flush with the block
i think if i had not done this i could have ended up with a milkshake maker
