The first cone in the picture is a new cone for the front suspension. The second cone is the rear suspension cone. The third cone is the old front suspension
Should I reuse the middle cone on the rear suspension or replace with new. (as you can see I have adjustable trumpets so i can compensate for the 40 years of compression on the old cones)

If it was me being the tight a$$ that in am id definatly use the middle ones on the rear and wind up the hilos but you will really feel a better quality of ride with all newies tho

There's nothing wrong with those old rear ones.

The new ones have a slightly more progressive rate. I'd use them in the rear and th old rears in the front to get the best handling.

The brand new one on the left will be lower than the one in the middle in no time. Rubber used nowadays is not as good as the old stuff. Rover ones are absolutely hopeless they are the lowest I have seen. Use good old ones usually the ones removed from the rear of cars are still very good.

I've heard this many, many times. Surely there have got to be some decent supplier out there.

Minispares UK claim to have fantastic cones, minisport seem to only sell the genuine rover ones. I know that huddersfield spares in the UK sell cones for about $30 aus dollars, but I'd be very wary of these...

...and the there's the "competition cones"
