well she turned over and started and boy she sounded sweet..BUT there is a catch (as always...) she kicked over first go (after turning the motor w/o plugs to get the oil going through) and sounded just right and a little lumpy (a bit from the cam and a lot from needing to be timed correctly)

so then for the rest of the night we focused on putting driveshafts back in etc.....

SOOOO i got a drive of her by about 10:50pm, holy crap, for a 998 she was going f n mad!!! she ran like a dog down low, but get up past 2000rpm or sooo and she took off almost (and i wasnt even giving it, there was soo much left!!) so once shes timed shell be sweet!!!! ok..so then bought her back in the garage for a brief with the old man, when we were talking i noticed a big wet patch under the car, we thought oh its just water, must be a pipe needing to be tightened, but itouched it anyways and it was OIL!!!!!! crap me says, thats a lot foronly sitting there for 20 sec!!! so we looked everywhere for this bloddy leak, oil filter ok g'box dry as, hold on its only really on g'box casing OMG THE GEARBOX HAS A CRACK IN IT!?!?!?!?!? well that lasted for 10 seconds till we saw it was leaking from the filter housing and breather a MASSIVE sigh of relief.......to be continued thur night (tmoz is mums bday and we cant work on the car...) btw the gearbox was such a nice change than b4!!!!!
