Maybe the oil pressure line? Good fun cleaning that out!

This exact same thing happened to me on the first SWOM i went on with you guys. Except in my case it was due to the removal of a breather by my mechanic.

Im so interested to take a look after work..

First I smelt burning plastic being some sort of short circuit then the smoke started coming through the dash then all the oil fell out...

If it wasn't for OZ50 I would start the 2 year resto plan over christmas and just strip it

Speaking of when you and mike lost your SWOM-ginity, what was the story with your car shooting crap out the exhaust mike?

that sucks. i remember my oil gauge pipe letting go behind the gauge while cruising on 90klm. Oil sprayed everywhere, wrecked all the carpet, my jeans, my shoes. Then walked my oily self to the nearest supercheap for a new hose. What a site  Fixed it, got home and cleaned it up.

The SWOM meet turned out to be a fuel pump, I was shooting bits of it out the exhaust..

I just remembered seeing oil run in onto the dash yesterday.. I still haven't looked at it, I'm a bit worried

Years ago (1967), I had an oil gauge fail on my Elf at night, so quite a while until I felt my jeans feeling kinda strangely and warm. I was pretty sure I hadn't pee'd myself and investigation revealed oil saturated beautiful red carpet, oil everywhere in the parcel tray and just a bloody mess. The car was about 14 months old then, no warranty.
Grrrrr, that event ruined my satisfaction with the car.

Its bad..

Oil pressure gauge has exploded taking with it the percentage of my wiring loom, the oil has filled the engine bay and destroyed my interior..

I just don't know what to do now..

How do you mean the oil pressure gauge "exploded" :?: Is this a standard or after market gauge, what brand :?: Did it explode at the block or in the cabin or what :?:
Pics please.... :?

Sorry to here dude. One of the worries I had with this, so went for electric gauges instead
