ahoy there chaps and chapettes,
just curious about how rust affects getting a roadworthy in victoria. My mini has some little bubbles popping up on some panels and im curious as to whether id have to get them fixed up before a roadworthy is granted. Theyre only small ie less than 50c coin in size and the subframes / pans / structural bits are all rust free. I plan on getting the rust fixed properly but time is against me right now so im all about getting what i need fixed for a roadworthy and then rectifiying anything else later on.
rock and/or roll

visible rust is a no-no, and anything structural needs to be fixed properly, but if it's a little hole in a panel you can clean it and bog it and put a bit of primer on and he'll be happy
