Which screws are suppose to have the spacers under, is it only the lower set?
And which holes are supposed to be used, the grills always seem to have a couple of extra holes. (6 in total) or have many just had extra holes drilled?
Cheers
The parts book shows six spacers - two behind the 'tags' that stick up at the top of the grille and go either side of the bonnet lock, and two on each side through the large flat black sheet that also secures the grill blades.
Is that from an Aussie parts book, i.e is that how the Aussie cars were assembled?
I'll have to try mounting my grill with spacers, can't imagine it not looking a little odd that far proud of the body/surround. My grill tends to just "bend" a little around the cooler.
Can imagine most cars losing these during the first service
