Ok so it's not a Mini but just think if it REALLY did work, all those ex police Cooper S's we could save from being stripped... Hindsight is a wonderful thing!!! :shock:

invent the light bulb,
and throw myself around 19th Century gentlemen clubs using the proceeds of the invention for the remainder of my natural life.

Well this post is Mini related at a stretch...

When my Dad got retrenched from BMC a good mate of his who also lost his job in the engineering section returned to his native Northern Ireland and eventually got a job at DMC.

Twice unlucky I guess because when Delorean was arrested for Drug trafficing that factory folded up too.

Apparently when the workers found out they were out of a job they piled into the cars and took them for an enthusiastic spin around the factory carpark.
