Hey everyone, so previously I tried to put some new rear van door rubber seals in. I failed dismally and once installed the doors wouldn't shut! In the end I gave up and removed the bottom and outside portion on one side. I have just got some more and some clips. What is the secret? Any tips would be appreciated hugely.
I think the lack of seal has something to do with my exhaust smell problem. [/quote]

Didn't know / think that Mackay did door rubbers, only hoses and mounts. Could find it in their catalogues. It has always been the likes of Spectrum that have done the door type rubbers.

What are the new seals like? I have a set form Minisport in the UK, which is different to the original profile in that it doesn't have a little groove for the original clips to hook into, so I'll try that "body mounting" tape they sell in Supercheap, unless anyone has a better idea?

Sorry David. its amazing what you go to get a car on the road but you forget a number of things. Its a wake up when you go for the first real drive to get a blue slip and they slap around worse than a Dunny door.
Its a must for me also
