Hi all,

Just about to do a first service on my new mini, and of course the brakes need adjusting. Can anyone tell me what the correct size spanner is for the adjusters? I have a feeling that it is around 7/16 but that is not quite right and leads to rounding them off???

For the record it's a 78 clubby, drums all round.

you're meant to use a square ring spanner
but i dont have one
so i use an open ended spanner that happens to fit

yes i know dodgy but i'd rather slightly rounding off the adjuster
and have working brakes

Figured it out - 5/16" spanner. I remeber now it is a weird size and I had to special order it in... Luckily I found it in my pile of miscellaneous tools...
