Hi all,

Interested to hear from Dellorto users what idle jet holders you are running. They are part 7850 that your idle jet connects to, and range from 5-10-9-4-1-3-6-7-2-8 in order of lean-rich.

I'm trying to get my progression circuit sorted, and rather than going larger again on the idle jets I'm considering changing to a richer holder to see what difference it makes. Currently running .1s with 55 idle jets, but still have a slight hesitation on the progression circuit.

Cheers

My Des Hammill Weber/Dellorto book suggests 7580.1 idle jet holders which I think is what I have in, I'll check tomorrow.

Thanks Kev. I'm thinking of getting some .7s, and just seeing what difference it makes running with the selection of idle jets I have.

OK mine is running 7850.2 idle jet holders, which are pretty rich from your listing. The idle jets are 55.
I have used these holders & jets in both 1310 motors, then the 1360, and now the 1412.
I have no flat spots on acceleration, and it tootles along nice at 40kmh in 4th without surging, then pulls away fine (with RE13 cam and 1.46 rockers).

I suspect these holders need to be rich (compared to say an Alfa) for the same reason the emulsion tubes have to- you are running 2 inlet ports off each barrel and their suction pulses overlap.

Thanks Kev. I'll try some richer holders I think and see what happens

I found an ebay seller with new jets cheaper than Dellorto.co.uk so thought I'd give them a punt.
