Hi

I was watching an episode of MacGyver the other day, he was in Italy and found himself involved in a police chase. What was he driving, a Mini of course, not only that but he had 2 others with him and what colour were they, red, white and blue :!: , sound familiar :?:
While watching the chase I thought it was very "Italian Job", luckily it was being recorded for the other half so I was able to watch it again in more detail. What I found was some of the scenes in the MacGyver episode were directly from the Italian Job.

Have a look here and you will see what I mean http://www.draftsmen.com/videos-macgyve ... M_Y%5D.cfm

Cheers
Steve

Continuity was crap, check out the bonet stripes, now you see them and then you dont, It was still a great bit of footage, but really a crappy copy of the original. It didn't do it justice

Saw a bit of that episode too (youngest boy loves that show).
Was just too patched together to be watchable.

Speaking of MacGyver

A testament to how much money goes into US prime time tv these days is that you would not see anything that bad these days in terms of stock footage or whatever being used. Even in the 90s they kept using footage from Executive Decision quite a bit for whenever they needed a generic not-real brand of airliner in flight.

ps. Can't believe that this is the first time you guys have seen this!
