HI everyone

was looking at changing my 12" wheels for 10" ones.

are there any 10" wheels/rims that will fit over 8.4" solid disc brakes? i am using the standard calipers.

The simplest answer to your question is no.
Some companies in Japan developed 10" wheels for 8.4in brakes but they sit 'next' to the wheel hub not 'over' it. The end result is the car is a foot wider than normal.

The simple math is a 10" rim is 9" inside, less the rotor diameter leaves 0.3" clearance (8mm) to get a caliper in. Not going to happen.

OK so if i want 10" wheels i will have to change the brakes yeh?

Yep.
You should only need the calipers, rotors and drive flange, so no need for a whole kit or anything.

Or you could just stay with 12" wheels. :lol:

Or just machine down the rotors to 7.5" and get some alloy 4 pot calipers.

Nicer brakes and 10" wheels...win win!
