That looks awesome. I'll have to show that to the missus. Hopefully we can do something like that!

It is a bit of a long story with the rear louvre but the reason it is staying is because it will be in my wedding and this particular car has been in the family since 1973. It has had a rear louvre for longer than most car to remember and it just wouldn't feel like the same car if it didn't have it. There would probably be more questions raised as to why it was missing than if it stayed. I am still surprised when I take it off just how naked the rear of the car looks even though I am fine with other mini's not having them :s

Nothing, I just didn't want to do it on a car with a full history and matching numbers

Stickers off - it's a wedding car not a business car.

Looks really excellent, I love seeing original cars and the Mini Deluxe really was the popular but unsung workhorse of the Mini gene pool.

Wait till the ribbons go on, that really makes it.

...and yeah sorry I'd have to agree, lose the stickers.

Have a great day!

Blasphemy! Thou shall not taint a De Luxe with crappy Cooper 'S' bits :P

Cheers mate

This will be 1 of 3 classic mini's, with 1 BINI thrown in as the bridal car.

The 3 classic mini's are all De Luxe's (done on purpose of course!) - and not De Luxe's pretending to be Cooper 'S' either. One of which is the one I used in my thermo fan how to on this site.

Apparently the brides' dress is much to puffy and large to fit in the back of an old mini so that's why the new one was brought in.

Hahaha...Actually a RH Tank was a factory option for a Dulux ...ah, De Luxe. Nice touch with the 3 De Luxes

Really nice mate, I am sure that your and your wife in waiting's special day will be just that.

Make sure you've thoroughly cleaned the inside of the door frame, locking latches etc

Nothing worse than having the bride or flower girl drag her dress across the greasy door latch when getting in or out of the car.

:D

Good luck with the wedding. Great looking car.

Funny You should Mention that Jule's, We (not me) had the other spectrum "with wings" of a Mini for (our) Day and Guess who got Grease on their cloths.
I would angle the arial but that is all I can say...Tassi's looking Brilliant . I'm wondering who is driving Her on the Day / Night and making sure she tucked in for the night and who is sharing the Garage for the week or two.
Now that I think of it, the one thing I Know that is Missing

Is

Flowers
