Cam and pushrods are on the RH side, for starters. :wink: But yeah it's a better head and port design (maybe coz it's 30 years younger). :lol:

Isn't that because the Datsun A Series is actually based on the Austin B Series..? :?
Ford engine's much cooler for a Mini. But that's just my opinion! :lol:

Datsun's original A series was actually `based on' the old 1200cc A40 Austin motor, but nothing on it fits that either.. :lol:
Same with Isuzu and Hillman motors, there were superficial similarities- eg the Bellett head gaskets `almost' fitted a 1.6L Hillman.
