Hey guys,

How do you pop out the sliding windows on 850 doors?

There are usually three screws, they sit in the channel oposite to the glass when the windows are in the closed position - have a dig around with a screwdriver and you will find them. Then (in most cases) you can throw the screwdriver away and get the power drill....just don't bust the glass with the drill!

You can also try to slip a hacksaw blade under the chrome channel between it and the door and cut through the screw that will inevitably be rusted solid and the head stripped by previous efforts to remove it.

If you have the glass at the opposite end to the one you are working on it should just lift enough to get the blade under.

Of course if you intend to replace the channels, you can get a little more brutal.

cheers
michael

And I found a packet of tiny (same size) stainless steel screws to put it back
