All jokes aside how do you think having non minis competing against minis, scoring and taking home trophies at the mini nationals
affects the spirit and integrity of the event

I think that only people that were at the event and who competed in the event should be asking these questions ...

PLEASE DO NOT STIR UP THE SITUATION !!

Maybe, just maybe some people don't go to Hay because of this situation. (I don't go because I won't have anything to do with giving money to CAMS for no benefit at all)

There probably should be a question like "Would you miss Hay because other vehicles are allowed to compete?"

Well said Beanie.. as mentioned in the other threads, there's changes being discussed and trying to stir things up isnt helpful to anyone.

I really don't think super-mini is trying to stir things up.

He asks a very good question. If the organisers of hay (who do a very good job) are going to change the rules, shouldn't they be looking to the wider mini community and asking this exact question. After all, it is the mini community who they are trying to attract.

Hay has got it's 45th Anniversary coming up shortly, myself and others are already talking about coming over again for this significant milestone. We would be only coming over with our Minis,so hopefully this can be resolved by then.

Adam is a keen bringer of cats to a dog show. I hear this is his entry for next year's Mini Nationals:

No, you're confusing your rebadged Fords. The Festiva is actually a rebadged Kia Rio.

Sorry, but tha original Festiva was an early Mazda 121, made in Korea by Kia, for Ford. They were a great little car. It is not a Rio...

That model Ford Festiva was the previous years Mazda 121. It then went on to become a Kia.
