I was just about to post a pic of a set of these myself. So these are 70s? And the metal type followed on in the 80s?

I think that this type was used on the aftermarket wheels in the early 70s...

I think that this type was used in the later 70's and on the SS/LS models...

That makes sense, Leyland just replaced the ROH with the drain-plug logo.

I used spray can lids, painted, had some stickers made up, then cleared over them.
This was the result - they've been on the car for about 5 years now, still good.

(It's an old pic and I don't have those tyres on anymore, thank god......, and I put so much clear over the painted surfaces that it has gone a sort of goldy colour now, which is not too bad imo)

The original caps had a red painted centre with ROH Wheels written on them.

And they were effin' ugly as... so I sold my set.
I agree they look better with none.

rubbish, they look beautiful and better with the original caps. hence why i bought them off you.

Hi Tim,
I have made at least 4 sets of these and 3 sets were for the smaller size from cut down stainless steel cups that i bought from bunnings (unfortunately they no longer stock these but check out camping stores and supermarkets) and one set for a larger size from cut down stainless steel cheese shakers that i bought from woolworths, each item was $6 to $9 then some creative decals on the end and WOLAR you have caps.
I wish i could attach some images however I'm on hols. in the US.
Any way as others have said your starting point is to know your hole size and work from there.
:)
Brian

These are the centres on my 10" jellybeans.

Sorry about the lack of clarity, but I had to cut this pic from a photo of the whole car.

The car's over the other side of the country from where I am at the moment so I don't know how the hole size compares. These centres came with either Aunger or Cheviot branding.

Where did you get that set from?

I bought em new back in 1980.

Naturally, they are off a Mopar, but I think they'd look good if the rim was machined to suit:

But I'm still an advocate of no caps :-)
