Got a picture message from a friend today of a mini up on what might have been a shorty 40 chassis (a guess...I am not very smart with that kinda stuff). It was parked out the front of Borough Tyre Service in Eaglehawk/Bendigo.

If I could work out how to get my stupid phone to put the pic onto my computer I would put it up!

I remember seeing one on eBay from over that way a while ago.
Maybe the same one?
It was on a Suzuki chassis I think.

Hi all,
Has anyone got any idea about that car; is that for sale or anyone knows one for sale or who knows how to make one.
I am searching for more info but very limited info out there at the moment.

I don't understand that. Why not just get an old landcruiser or jeep without doors?
:?

I have been thinking doing something like that for a while now, either as Mini or HQ station wagon.
I spouse just to be different and multipurpose vehicle.
We do fair bit of camping and I have friends doing hardcore camping with 4X4 too.

But the mini body / moke body on the 4WD chassis provides no use to anything: offroad or on. I'd argue its more of a danger to its operator than anything else.
Promo vehicle I understand, show thing sure, but to have on the road I'm not so sure about.

There's always the mini (clubman) 4x4 on eBay at the moment. It's on a Suzuki chassis. Problem is, he wants 15 grand for it.
