Hi Guys,
I know someone will know the answer to this...

I have a Mini K with a Cooper S front end and "standard" flared guards.

I've just ordered some new 6x10"wheels with an •Offset/ET 05

Are these going to fit ok?

I'm like the fruit in a jam sandwich (committed) as they have already shipped, but i'm starting to get a seed of doubt.

Does anyone know ?

Thanks in advance.
Ian

Are they Ultralights?

I bought some 6x10 untralights and they poked out something terrible and hit the guards at the front. So i had the make the wheel arches bigger and get some much bigger flared to cover them.

I dont know about what your offset means but I got mine from minisport UK.

Brenton

Probably not much point in sweating too much about them now , seeing as you have already bought them , just put them on when you get them and see whether they stick out past the flares too much and then decide if you can use them .
Did you buy them with tyres fitted ?

Good choice of wheels. I had 10X6 revolutions on my Cooper S with standard S brakes and flares and they did stick out past the flares (just) only a few mm out though.

I'd say you've got no chance of ET5 6" wheels fitting under standard flares. You'd need a large negative offset to get them to almost fit. I don't have the exact measurements but I don't think any 6" wheels will fit under standard cooper or innocenti flares.

Look at how many people have bought the new Mambas. Some of them have commented that they need bigger flares.

Let's not get argumentative shall we?? You trying to send this thread the same way as the roll cage one?

I have a shell with Cooper S style flares and they measure the exact same width as the set of cheapo black innocenti/rover flares I have in a box. If the GP qualifying wasn't about to start I'd go to the shed and measure the width at the top of the wheel.
