Okay, i'm going to look like an idiot, but here goes.

I feel I should preface this with, i'm actually quite computer literate, i'm likely just overlooking something here..

How the hell do I get a shipping quote out of Huddersfield spares?

If i try and go through the checkout process, it gives me no information about shipping, and my subtotal doesn't go above the price of my goods..

It takes me up to the point of inputting my credit card details, with no mention of shipping.

Thanks in advance.

(PS. It's in mini chat because I want to spend my tax return on wheels)

They sent me an email after the fact with the freight details included. You can opt out I suppose, or call them ahead.

Anyone who has bought wheels from them, what'd they slug you for freight?

Cheers Mick by the way

I emailed them for a freight quote and I had a reply the next day - email them now and you'll get a response

| PRODUCT | QTY | COST | SUB TOTAL |
| Yokohama A008 165/70/10 tyres for | 4 | £32.92 | £131.68 |
| Shipping with Special Arrangements | £0.00 | £131.68 |
| VAT | £0.00 | £131.68 |
| Total | £131.68 |

Seems harsh, but its a 230 dollar saving over the local guys, despite the fact the Asian tyres were shipped halfway around the globe to huddersfield, and then back again and still come up cheaper by 36% at retail.

Hi Adam,
Sorry didn't see you post before now.

Just e-mail them direct, I had the freight quote back in about 20 minutes (was business hours UK time) and was good to go!

When ordering I put the freight quote in the comments section and it was all done...

5 days to go... (checking watch, tapping toes)

:)

The black centres are somewhat over done (Read: Very overdone)
And after seeing the globes on the moke, I think silver wheels look good.

I made the mistake of dealing with them ONCE. I got to same point and couldn't get the freight price without actually paying for the order - which I did. 2 days later I get an email and the freight price is much higher than their competitors.

I reply to the email and say no thanks and to cancel the order. Not hearing anything for 24 hours I emailed again and said I did not want to proceed.

Next day I get an email saying the Wheels have been dispatched and are at the airport. So now I ring them on the phone and they pull the order and manage to get it back from the airport. Said they would put the money back in against my credit card used for payment.

2 weeks later the money goes back in based on the GBP store price. However the value of the AUD has changed and I have lost money.

What a *&^% of an experience

Adam,
Are these new wheels for the Moke or the Clubman?

If Moke, what's happening to the Globes?

Moke.

Globes, will go to the highest bidder
Lots of people have approached me about them, so who ever wants the rare wheels the most gets them!

Hi
I bought the Revolution with Yoko 008's all up total in AUD is about $700

so about $175 a corner for wheels, tyres nuts and centre caps balanced and filled with genuine UK air!

Considering i've been quoted AUD $130+ just for the tyres here is hard to say no...
