Ok.

Paint stripper is great, it takes the glue and the paint off at once so you can rub it back and paint with ease.

Dont use a contact cement where you glue both parts and bring them together...

Use a wet system so you adjust the position of the rubber. Mine is ok but I'm not 100% happy with it.
