Kev what about the alloy stubsacks you make have you noticed any difference with them fitted :)

Yes I've noticed a difference, they are much better at low rpm as you get on the throttle, because the carb's mixture control is better.
Vizard's book indicates around 5% better flow from fitting stubstacks.
I have not done any before and after dyno testing, but both Vizard and GR say that stubstacks like these are worth having (if you have no room for trumpets). Any radius above 3mm will work- mine are now ~5mm rad.

The worst air filter is no air filter.

:shock:

Destroyed three engines in two different Appendix J Minis back in the 90s.
Sad times.
