SAAS buckets from the 80's, retrimmed.

Fitted on Honda Civic rails. Don't sit too high, perfect width, very comfy and supportive.

Another alternative is MX5 seats.

I couldn't get him to fall out either. :P

Baradcade, have a read of the threads in this link on he MokesInc forum. It will give you plenty of info to consider.

http://www.mokesinc.org/index.php/topic,7466.0.html

Just keep the height of the seat cushion in mind. If you sit too high in the car or the seat is too upright, you might find the sunvisors and top screen rail are right in your line of sight. Scrunching down to see out the screen properly soon becomes annoying. However, if you are five foot zero then no issues. :)

Cheers,

And they were of a decent height aswell. As im 6 foot 3 ive found in most seats i either look over the windscreen frame or in line with it. But these seats were nice and low.

It will depend on the applicable ADRs on your compliance plate. Try to get a pre-'71 compliance plate and numbers for your shell. *cat/pigeons*

EDIT: I thought you were building up a Choke, from the supplied picture - however have just seen the one in the photo is LHD and I think I recognise it as the one being done up by a guy in Germany. Or was it Austria? I don't know. But, I gather this is a photo you've found and not one of your own car?

Either way, yes, it depends on the ADRs as to whether or not you can have lowbacks.

I don't know but that green thing has a UK little wheeler dash
Funny side walls
flat floors and a funky firewall :S

Looks like he folded the 'interior' up himself :S

Dean, a CHOKE is a CHinese mOKE

8)

(reproduction, and not quite legal to get registered here, as they don't ship with any body identification. you can draw almost direct lines between rebirthing and all other sorts of illegality when you see a Choke on the road)
