hey guys quick question,on my vin plate it has the origional engine number right. Unfortunatly it had a 997 engine in it when i bought it , so i got myself an origional 850 engine when i re rego it can i have the vin plate changed to suit the new 850 engine number ?????? Sorry guys forgot to mention its a 1962 morris mini roundy..... I hope you can understand this i am still trying to get my pc typing skills right..

You can't change the number on the plate no; but to register it with the new engine you have to go to a blueslipper with the receipt for the new engine and get them to fill out the paper work to change the number over.

And I guess you have a 998 engine, a 997 engine is quite a bit different
