Has anyone measured the distance between the door skin and the glass in a clubman door before? Do you still have those measurements??

Does a rover/classic mini door fit a clubman (mod to change from internal to ext. hinge) ??

they`re a different door aperture

in other words the doors are different shapes & sizes

the phommy door is way taller & the hinge panels are totally different & so is the B-pillar & door catch mech too

have a look at the roof gutter,,, then see how much metal is between the roof gutter 7 the top of the window frame

2 totaly different size & shape panels

the side windows are also taller on the pohmmy cars

The window glass on a rover sits further outside the car than an aussie one, but since the doors are completely different measuring from glass to anything is a variable.

Which door skin do you need a measurment for? The outer one is curved, so it varies, the inner one is a constant clearance, but its still barely even 3/8 of an inch from memory.

Hrm, well thanks for the info.

I've been measuring the clubman outter door skin looks to be 45mm from the largest part. Which *might* be enough for my random idea...

Thanks anyway!

What are you trying to do with it?
There's a few things that have been crammed into that space before, from electric window motors, door actuators, falcon or magna door handles, even intrusion bars.
