Heres some pics of my car being pumped up by Graeme Lord's in Wollongong. Not sure if it's same type of pump you are talking about but it looked pretty original.

Hope the pics help.

Thanks for the pic Phil Im not sure if they are original wheels but I might have to go with something like that if nothing else comes forward. I cant even remember if they actually had wheels it does have carry handles front and back.

I have seen a few with wheels and I have seen a lot without wheels. The ones with wheels all seem to have a similar type of wheel (early Victa mower?) as well as having a handle on the back for wheeling them around.
I think they must have been made that way on some of them at some stage.

Mini is very original looking, came from my mechanic who has worked on minis since they were new (had two, sold me one). No wheels, but handles front and back so that you can pick it up....

Thanks Number 86 as I suspected. I also worked on them when they were new its just that the grey matter has sagged a bit, anyway thanks for the info mine has the handles so will forget about some wheels

I was thinking of wheels for my one. I was going to just make an axle that slips onto the rear legs with a handle that is just a pole attached to the axle.

Mind you, my one is missing its handles!

That sounds ok, I guess its about how far and often you have to move it, mine will most likely just sit proudly in the corner of the shed with very little use.

For a busy workshop its a pretty understandable addition so I guess quite a few ended up like that

I reckon they look better without the wheels. Makes them look more like a Dalek. :)
