Hi,
Can someone post a pic of a Mini K owner's manual?
I've never seen one for sale on ebay and need a pic for reference.
The manual number would help also.

Were they supplied from the UK or did AUS print their own?

Thanks.

Cheers

it's a unique Australian model, even the round badge on the front is different to the same style round badge found on some UK models

I know much about that round badge. I've been looking for one for a year. I finally found one on ebay Germany. Had to pay 70 USD for it which isn't a bad price considering I saw one sell for about 200 USD on ebay UK.

Thanks to all who posted pics. I know I'll never find a manual for sale in the USA but I'll keep looking on ebay AUS.

Bruno,

I have one that was issued with a Mini K in August 1969, sold by Darwin Motors in South Australia where the couple you bought the car from originally acquired it. PM me your car's body and engine numbers. If they match it is yours.

The original publication number is TP810, or TP811 for the export version. They do come up on eBay Australia quite often. Create a saved search so you get emailed when there's a hit.

Doug

late reply here Bruno - that badge you got from Germany isn't the right one for your Australian car. It would have (if I recall) a two step gold ridge around the outside, ours didn't have that :D

Give Bruno first dibs, but if he's already found one I'll take it please, even though the date doesn't quite match my 4/1970-plated K. :)

The one you are looking for may have BMC Service on the cover (and inside) in place of British Leyland Service as per the picture. Not sure of the exact changeover date.
