What do you like? I had a look at what is available and now I'm confused.

IMO the lurethane ones are all rubbish for a road car. They either crack up or flow out of shape. I use the original compressed live rubber ones, never had a problem.

From memory, there are two types - tapered and parallel, one for early cars and the other for later. Can't remember which is which

Early ones are flat.

The standard ones for the tapered bottoms don't have a lip, but other ones do?

Yeah, I think that's right. The ones I got with my adjustable lower arms were like little barrels, with steel inner sleeves. No outer lip.

Barrel, that's a great way of describing them. They are the standard ones for the taper type later lower arm. I'll just get them again I think. I put them in the Moke.

As an alternative to (crappy) Urethane ones, there are hard rubber (real rubber!) ones available for the post 68 cars. They still have the steel insert too.

Convert them to a spherical bush.... the centre of a rod end! It is easy to do!

I believe illegal for road use. But fine on the track.

Adjustable arms are as well... but this conversion is very easy to hide with factory arms!
