I picked another distributor up last week, and for the price I am unsure why we need to trawl through wreckers for Pulsar dizzies anymore...

This one cost me 118 dollars delivered, is rated for (in fact they require) sub-1.4 Ohm high output (electronic ignition) coils. It's curved to any particular ignition curve you care to specify as it is packed up and mailed. The best part is that it is also brand new...

The module is different to previous modules, and uses an interrupter blade rotating on the shaft. Both the hall effect sensor and the usual magnet is stationary within the module. Got to be careful when you order however, some are rated for standard coils, while others are high energy rated. There's a ten dollar difference between them.

Locally (which is also important) Convertible Mini on here gets them. Auto Electrics on Wheels sell the same products. for a few bucks more maybe. They are close and local besides a member of the Ausmini community. AEoW has strived to accumulate a stock of Mini electrical parts of good quality reasonably priced and backed with Professional advice after sale service and warranty. I have been emailing them this week trying to figure out which one to get. They said they can do a high performance non vac advance. I already have a Lucas Sport (DLB105) coil, so I'm trying to figure out if that is suitable or if I'll need a different coil.

That dizzy is for <1.5 Ohm primary coils. The Lucas sports is actually 3 Ohms (Les sporty than the label suggests perhaps). A standard point setup or the normal powerspark module will do.

What are the specs for the advance curve on that 43d without vacuum advance?

Anything you want. Some ads mention that they are custom built to your specs, some don't. Email convertible or simonbbc and just let them know what you are after. I dropped my needs into an email, but apparently putting them in the purchase comments also works.
