for an emergency fix, i cut the bottom off a coke can and it fits perfectly, looks good for a temp fit, better than a hole, just a thought ;-)t

I machined a set a while back out of black HDPE for the Contessas on a friend's `71 Cooper S-
Sorry, I'm not making more, it takes too long on my bench lathe... but it's another idea... :wink:

I have been running coke can bottoms for years. just a note the dish in the base of the can needs to be popped out for fitment on the front, although I do have S disc brakes so the hub nut may be different to drum hub nuts.

Don't forget that Contestas come with different size centre holes - I have a set with three different size holes. I bought a set of acme wheel centres and used tank tape to adjust for the difference in hole sizes.
