Thought about all the stuff I have to do on it once I am back from house-sitting! Need to pick up some bits too!

Finished off the interior (pretty much) including the dash, custom switch panel and heater controls. Started organising insurance as it goes for rego next week. Very excited! Just need to tidy up the last few bits and pieces and give it a clean.

I got my brakes back from the brake place,
$100 for 2x nipple threads re done and replaced with new nipples, sand blasted both calipers back to bare metal and damn do they look good!
Oh and helicoils installed on both threads where the brake hose connects to the caliper.

Did you change the caliper seals while you were at it?

No :?
The guy did a pressure test on both calipers and there were no leaks at the time of testing, He also said the seals/ pistons and caliper it self were in pretty good nick.

Thanks mate. Fingers crossed.

I think I started a build thread on here about 3 trillion years ago. I might have to see if I can dig it out and update it when I get a spare moment.

Replaced the long clubman speedo cable PO fitted with a new correct short cable.

Super happy as the speedo needle is now super steady with absolutely no wobble. :D :D :D

I always assumed it was the speedo at fault as I could not see anything wrong with the long cable.

Started it, drove it up the driveway, let him run for a bit, turned him off, tightened a crap load of things (engine steadys mostly) cotton reels etc, replaced my PCV rubber hose as the old one had split a tiny bit and was leaking causing a funny idle... nearly finished his new home, poly-sheets are ordered and will be going up next weekend huzzah!

Relocated my facet fuel pump on the Moke from the engine bay to the rear sub frame. Made up some hard lines to and from the tank location to the subframe. Managed to get them through existing grommets so I didn't have to drill holes. :)

Modified the fuel level sender so I can get the gauge working the full range in my custom tank. The tank is almost ready to install. Then it will be onto engine re-assembly.
