It's nice to see he checks the clearance of his nice bling manifold before he sorts out the important stuff like steering lol

All that effort and its not even going to drift very well.
Very short chassis, and central weight distribution is not very good for a drift car.

Seem a bit pointless. Maybe it might make a decent drag car??

Don't worry, all the welds on the frame will crack before it gets sideways anyway

I love his work, but there's not much mini left in it.

I think he will have issues with it swapping ends all the time and difficulty balancing it on the throttle with such a short wheelbase. It will be twitchy and you would need steering and throttle inputs continuously to get it to drift right - would be very tiring to drive!

It's so dissapointing to hear all the negative feedback about this project. It's almost a scratch built car and he's bringing together parts and ideas from many different sources.

I've followed many such projects and admire the ingenuity, skill and dedication needed to complete them.

I agree that it takes a lot of dedication to take on such a massive custom job. But i dont understand why you would go to all that effort to build it , when before you even start it is pretty obvious it will not be very good at achieving hat you are building it for.

His goal is a drift car. But as it has been said above a mini is way too short to ever be a successful drift car. Add to that the massive heavy engine that he is putting in means that it will probably handle terribly in general.

I am all for custom projects, but that one just seems like a lot of work for little to no result
