:(
No pass...
Oil leak (now fixed)
Seat had loose bolt (now fixed) that side was allocated to the brother inlaw to tighten as I did the otherside :/
And seat belts latch was missing plastic cover. Solved tomorrow.
Will try again tomorrow.

Fitted new KYB shocks to the rear and converted to coil springs with new Hi Lo's,
Removed the bonnet, Grill, Grill support and had a few beers
killed about a zillion red backs that made my mini home while it sat at the previous owners house waiting for me to save it.
Organized a company to do some soda blasting on all my small parts.
Next steps
find a powder coater near pakenham
Remove the motor
Remove the front sub frame ready for strippiing
The list is so long it would cover our poor mini

Almost finished the engine install in the moke. It was a public holiday in Brisbane. Engine steadies, thermo housing and passenger steady, charcoal cannister, washer bottle, gear linkage, hubs, inner pot joints, exhaust, carby, most of the wiring, heater hoses. Lots of little jobs. I'm going to leave some until after the Muster like re-shimming the ball joints and swapping the alloy calipers for the metro vented iron ones.

This time around the car will have stock air filter housing with k&n element, water heated inlet manifold, thinner carb spacer and adjustable steadies so the HIF float doesn't hit the firewall, new (convertible mini) alternator, no oil cooler and 1.3 rockers in the hope that it is a little more driveable and more fun for a quick dash to the shops.

I still need to refit the fuel tank but that is a real pr1ck of a job so I have left it until nearly last...

took a couple of days off work - yesterday I put in a 50mm aluminium radiator that's been sitting on my desk for 6 weeks but been too busy to put it in, and today I played on the dyno :D

He is wasting your time. First guy I went to was crapping on about the horn button. He reckoned it worked sporadically. I pointed out he wasn't pressing it properly. Then he said "Besides! Your exhaust is leaking".

I can recommend Fred at Revrite Performance. He looks at the actual roadworthiness stuff - doesn't spend 20 minutes complaining about the pitch and yaw of your sun visors.
