G'day all, Nicho here im from Pakenham vic, currently building a 76 Clubman for my missus and searching for a panelvan for myself (may have found it today). Had a 67 Deluxe when i first got my licence and regretted selling it every day since. Love Mini's and working on them hope to learn from the forum and maybe help out as well.
Can't wait to get our clubby on the road and go on an outing with a heap of other Mini's

Hi all,

I am CJ, I am a mini addict...............

It has been over a decade since a mini has graced my garage and for that I am truly sorry :(

Now that I am in a new phase of life and not to mention a new wife  I am looking to get back to owning a mini! The last wife got rid of mine and the new one will let me get another :)

So as the hunt begins (and I think it could be a long one this time) I look forward to reading about the various exploits on the forum and rekindling my passion for the mini.

Cheers,

CJ

You are forgiven. And if you manage to find a Cooper S to save it from being sold I give you permission to park it in my garage.. A small fee of the keys every other weekend is included..
Welcome.

G'day,

Back again, i had a green clubby and was active on the forum about 5yrs ago.

Since then ive got a house, got married, got my old job back driving concrete trucks and built a new shed with a new car hoist thats all sitting on a couple of sweet loads of excess concrete thanks to some customers miss-calculations.

Anyway been looking for something to tinker with and ive just started on a 6 wheeler moke that the father in-law got about 20 odd years ago, was last rego'd in 06''

G'day everyone,

Stuart here,

Been a mini owner for about 12 months now (and a lurker on ausmini for most of that time) after a few friends / ausmini forumers convinced me to buy a 1964 Morris Mini Cooper late last year. Have been loving it since (apart from the failed clutch slave a few km's after I bought it, and the buggered clutch throw out bearing, and the snapped throttle cable, and the snapped throttle pedal, etc... but it's all a learning experience, right? ).

I've met quite a few of the Sydney mini owners over this time, and hope to catch up with many more mini people around the place.

Stu

Thanks Braad!

It may have been, I found out about it through another forum member who saw it up for sale at the MCC NSW Show & Shine last year (and it appears to be on the flyer for this year's Show & Shine too  ) It was a bit more than I was originally prepared to spend on a mini, but also at a price that I couldn't pass up...

Yep that's where we saw it! I went over it with an older mate and we were impressed with the list of parts & equipment in it.
Even though we didn't speak to anyone else like the owner, it looked like a good buy to us. I would love to see it out and about again, are you attending the MCC NSW show & shine on Sunday?
