$500 a fortnight!? Is that an average over the past few months or something, say after some big purchases? Or is it like pretty much "I spend $500 on my car a fortnight"?

If it's the latter, then that's a lot of money to be throwing at the Mini, IMO.

no amount is too much if you can afford to spend it.. if it means your kids are going without food then its too much, but if your single, and not in debt, and you enjoy your car, then why the hell not..
it would be way too much a week for me.. i can only wish for those days back..
getting better when you can help your kids spend their money on carparts..

Spend whatever you can afford!

At least you're not spending the money on drugs etc..

Spend while you're single cause when you get married, mortgage and kids the whole dollar aspect changes!

If thats your thang....then do it son!!

Have a look around you, there are people out there spending dollars hand over fist on boats, golf, tiddlywinks, chess and pizza.

You only live once....

Minis are addictive...

but they don't have terrible side effects like smokes (although a lot of Minis do smoke excessively)

Move on...enjoy your Minis....enjoy your life.... :D
