We all know it, once the family gets wind you've got a mini you usually end up with little RC BMW MINIS, MINI T-shirts, MINI Chocolates with a car attached. I simply can't get enough of those BMW Minis in the house, they take up all that unwanted empty shelf space!

Anyway, this is what I got this year. The wife made me a Doona for onboard the ship, resplendent with a set of matching pillows. Check it out! I also got some MINI shaped soaps. I dunno about those...

My brother just got back from their Europe holiday and picked up these in a market for me. . Pretty cool i think. I will have to figure out a way to wall mount them.
They are a bit too nice to use as coasters.

I got a book...

What does it have to do with the Mini? While he didn't actually call the Mini a lemon he did attack just about every other vehicle built by BMC and Leyland.

Funny how a vehicle like the Moke that sold well enough over a long period can be described as a lemon.
A luxury Mini gets tagged lemon just because it is a little longer than a Mini?

Of course not, the author was so busy attacking the British motor industry he forgot the French.
(with the exception of the Citroen Ami 6 and the Ligier PdY.)

No actually I was quite chuffed. I always get something car related as that's how I'm known at work. The weirdest one was a drift magazine one year (I turn 50 this year!) - I guess they thought it was car related at least.

I'll ignore the other inflammatory comments

Happy new year everyone.
