Adam,

If you give them a call and ask they will probably give you salvage rights. Normally if the car is over 30 you can have it with no issues.

I find if you are polite but firm on the phone they look after you.

I had a chat to the guy about it when I set it up the other day, he seemed adamante that they couldn't give me salvage rights until next year at the big 35.

I really should send in some photos and get the insured value bumped up, it's in a lot better nick than a $5000 valiant should be.

Hey guys, I've settled on Shannons, picked up the car today and she's now sitting out the front.

Can anyone let me know specifically where I can find the engine number (72 Clubby)?

The engine number will be on a ledge on top of the engine block just below the number 1 spark plug. (closest to the radiator)

Can you please take a look at the below pic and let me know which direction the number should be in?

Towards the firewall theres a number (126202) but I don't think that's right :S
