Incorrect...
Of what i've read... the QUICK starlet engine is being replaced with a stocko starlet engine..
And NOW that vehicle will be a ricer... bling wheels, rims, neons, sound... stock engine :roll: :lol:

With huge custom brakes & one fantastic suspension setup...

And heres me putting together a 'hot' A- series for *maybe* i dunno, 100 hp at crank? Remind me never to speak to you Starlet peoples again... Ur embarissing me. I'll go off in the corner and cry now...

But really, I dont know what i'm playing with this crap for. And that motor actually looks good, too. alot of the ricers have plastic looking motors. That one is -Tough- How Big is that bloody wastegate?

Dr mini built me a 1380 with 113hp at the crank in my previous car...

trust me 113hp is heaps of fun...

i was thinking about the wrx engine this morning.
a mag i've got shows the donk outside the engine bay and it doesn't look all that big..

and it apparently only weighs 160 kilo... :)

Am I that tranparent?
That stage of my plans is still a long way off :roll:

The motor is beaut - small & flat, but not quite the right shape for a mini.
The gearbox is the problem - it's 1 1/2 times the size of the motor, and pretty darn heavy!
Try fitting that in your transmission tunnel - oh wait, you don't have one :)

Anyway, you'd be taking a power CUT over your monster Starlet donk!
Standard GTiR "only" 204kW at the crank. Then you'd still have to work it to pump out your sort of numbers.
