Hi everyone,

Not sure if this is in the correct place, but I am looking into designing a Motorkhana Special, using a mini front sub-frame and engine, was just wondering if anyone had any guide lines, pictures of builds or even some plans/sketches. It is a pipe line dream at the moment but would be interested in researching it a bit more.

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

It's basically done by mind, no one really dose it by a plan just what each individual wants.
This is what I'm making;
front and rear mini frames, steel firewall and floor so it's a bit heavier than it could be but I'm building it for bush/paddock driving so I don't want a stick impaling my leg in the middle of no where.

Matt Reid;
Yamaha R1 powered but it's in a mini subframe and uses a lot of mini parts.

There are many ultra competitive mini based specials around, Warwick Butt in NSW, Bill Macarthy in Victoria, Scott Bennett in WA, David Beames in SA, find out when a round of a state motorkhana championship round is on and pop along and have a look for yourself.

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.
