Yea, I was a Torana man back in the early 90's. I had 5 all up, including an original SLR/500 that I restored. It was my second full resto car.

:D They will always hold a special place in my heart.

My name is Stuart, i'm 20, and I own a very original '78 1275 LS that was my daily driver for about 6 months. Now its got 105,000 Kms on the old girl. Its a 3-owner car, with all service books, owners manuals, original keys, etc.

Currently a Jeweller by trade.
Love Minis, Fords, and most classics.

Great to see some Orstralian mini stuff on the net.

HI I'm Tim,

I've got a 1973 clubman (daily driver) and a 1966 deluxe (project).
Have been a vic mini club member for about 4 years, used to write for the club magazine, but time restrictions meant I had to give it up :(

anyway hi all, hope to chat in here a little more.

Bye for now,

Tim B.

OK introductions.
where do i start,
born in uk moved to south africa 84 lived there till i came here (wouldnt let me into oz)(yet) and have been mini mad since about 14. my father raced them etc.
I now have a little workshop doing minis only (& a couple of metros) in paraparaumu north of wellington.
I own too many minis to list but its somewhere around the 9 mark ranging from a oz van,(+half van for trailer or it was going to get scrapped), oz GT,1430 race car,1380 road+show car, 2 metros, 1959 richard longman race car, 1980 city, a clubman and im sure im missing one or 2 but they not running.
I import and export parts all round the world hence the name minicranks (when i was doing the 1071 south african cranks), i also manufacture small parts for minis and do this as a full time job.
oh yeah and i own distribution rights for Bovic gaskets new zealand and Reinol hand cleaner. if you havent tried it yet it s the best handcleaner in the world and im not biased about it but 18years of history on the product speaks for its self.
is this ok for a full intorduction oh yeah and i njoy learing something new everyday about minis.

welcome MC
great to see another mini nut who can call themselves 'professional'

your minis sound very interesting, especially the special edition and racer ones

I use Citramax Hand Cleaner, it has polymer granules in it and is excellent in removing stuff
but leaves hands quite dry and wrinkly
but at $12 for 2L which will last me over 3 years im not complaining.

Whats Reinol like? maybe you could convert me

my mothers a professional i earn money from doing what i enjoy. similar.lol
the hand cleaner is a brown substance that smells like marzipan (icing off a cake) trust me it only smells like it and doesnt taste like it.
I wash my hands about 9-10 times a day i have had 3kgs on my wall for 8 months now im 3/4 of the way thru it cost about $34dollars(new zealand) but its good and doesnt dry your hands out as its all totally natural and doesnt contain any citrus petrochemicals or solvents to clean your hands.
tip, using the above products really does remove dirt grime grease etc but it also removes the natural oils in your skin ( hence the dryness) so what happens is your hands then crack and you continue to use it and you end up with a bacterial (working with dirty products) infection and viola dermatitus.
reinol is all natural using kaolin (same stuff used in face packs ) a clay base to withdraw the dirt from your hands (face, head etc) also with glyceryn, coconut oil and almond oils it totally naturally replemishes the natural oils in your hands.
I have used it for 18 years and the only time i went away from it i got dermititus, i was told there was nothing i could do, i fianlly got my hands on somemore reinol and never suffered again since and nor have my 100 or so customers i have and the 1500 customers over new zealand and i dont know how many around the world as its been around since 1941 as a dermititus cream which developed into a handcleaner after the war.
I will get the number for any of you guys to call in australia and get a weeks free trial. hey if you dont like it it doesnt cost a cent and you will know if its good or not.
p.s i dont have to convert people the product does that all by itself i tell alot of poeple that and they are amazed with the results if they dotn like it we do another 3 types but Original is the best.

its quite dry so i would say not but a little bit of mousture (soft soap or water) makes its into a paste.
the K and the new S can be used without water.
always use water as it washes the handcleaner off your hands dont ever believe them when they say you dont need water what ever the product is.

I mean it is mini related with names like Original, K and S it must have some thing to do with a mini and it shifts 40 year old mini dirt also. im not sure about the product called flax.

set it up with makka for a full facial and product testing like a tupperware party or makeup party, lol.
