Has anyone got some pictures of a reinforced front subframe as David Vizard says it should be done :?:
I'm looking at doing this myself, the tie rod area and seam welding is easy. What I'm not clear on is the reinforcing plates that go on the rear floor pan mount sections and if their needs to be anymore in other areas.

The blue parts are what I did to my frame, the suspension towers were welded;

The front tie rod ears, 3mm plate;

Bump stop mounts 2mm plate;

Rear firewall mounts 2mm plates (on the bottom of the frame & still need to drill the holes through) in Vizards book he doesn't explain how large the plates have to be... :? ;
