Hi all just wondering what way you mount your booster. Is there a left or right type. Also I'm chasing the right hand plastic valve and the clip that holds the foam in where can I get one from

My pics etc for under dash mount are in here-

re the LH-RH question, the Chinese ones come in set up with the bracket on the `wrong side' for Mini conventional mounting. However if it's going in a Clubby I would leave the bracket alone and mount it backwards and as far back and high up as possible, then you can work on the clutch or remove the engine without touching the servo piping.
It was stupid how BMC mounted them in the S, IMO. Totally in the way.

Here are a couple of options.

First is original eary Mk2 Cooper S.

Second is the latter Cooper S / Clubman GT booster, moved back to make room for the additional coolers.

I like the look of originality, which is not the best if you intend to work on the clutch on a regular basis.

I don't mind the original method too much it turns out... You can unbolt the booster and the break lines are long enough to allow you to lift it up and out of the way onto the wing to get it out of the way without upsetting any break fluid.

I wonder if they had that in mind at the time?

Mine looks a bit like this:

They're my only shoes small enough to actually fit on the pedal.

You mean brake lines, or hoses?

The brake lines of course, any goat can flex a hose. The brake lines are long, and supple enough to let the booster be lifted and swung up out of the way without breaking the integrity of the brake system.
