Hi guys.

I've been reading off this site for a while now but just decided to join.

Ive got a 1978 mini clubman van that was sprayed with an acrylic paint, rubbed off every time you touched it, coming out of the panels beaters with a new paint job. I think it took me around 2 months to pick a colour but i finally choose yukon grey with a white bonnet.

The thing is the whole thing is stripped. I mean everything. I took it all back to bare metal and didnt leave a dot of rust on it.

Can anyone here help me out it back together, the engine, brand new wiring harness and all the stuff that belongs in the bonnet mainly. Of coarse there is money involved. There's no such thing as a free lunch.

If you can help me or know anyone that can i would appreciate it heaps. Sydney area prefered.

I've got the haynes workshop manual on board. I think the only thing stopping me doing it is time and space..

Funny enough the mini was from near Perth. My brother-in-law was there at the time so I got him to have a look at it for me. He begged me to drive it back to Sydney and of he blew the gear box by the time he got to the NSW border. He even slept in the back of it every night with his legs dangling out the barn doors.
