Where can I get one of these bad boys ?

It looks like a Clubby door switch. NLA now new I think.
I fitted Rover ones to my Mini doors, they are well made (in Malta!) and work good. The extra screw and copper strip behind it gives a better earth than originals.

They are different to the clubby door switches, but same principle of operation. The clubby door switches are held in with a screw, these have metal clips at the back that hold them in the mounting hole. There's not much to them if you want to have a crack at fixing your old one - but if you need a new one, I've never seen them for sale.

Oz Clubby door switches had no screw. They looked just like the one in 666's pic.

That's interesting! My '78 clubby has the screw version! Perhaps they were 'fixed' at some stage - but they look like they've been there a while. I presumed they were like that from the factory.

I think they changed to the one with the screw later one I've wrecked a few 77/78's that had that style

The Clubman was fitted with the switch held in by a Screw around 1975 onward

Ok so how can I replace the switch ?

Look for an early Clubby new or s/h one or fit a new late type one somehow, with a screw.
It's only a switch....

Can you clean up the one you have or is it buggered?

The spring is buggered, I'll see what I can find

and is used on MG'S P76 Triumph Jaguar Etc
