I see 13 in moke trailing arms for sale or wanted every now and then.

But i think they don't fit minis :? what doesn't fit where? , just curious as obviosly minis now can come with 13 inch wheels ( albeit low profile)

Cheers Darryl

The moke arms are about two inches longer (but the shock still bolts on at the same distance as the mini). The problem with the mini arches is their closed in at the back so the moke arms push the wheels back into the body work.

A Mini with a 13" wheel runs a very low profile tyre.
A Moke with a 13" wheel runs a very tall tyre.

Try to fit a Moke wheel and tyre to a Mini and see what happens!

this was at Hay a few years ago, looked really cool - about the only time I've ever "liked" 13" wheels on a mini\
